Goal
The main goal in this personal project was to get acquainted with a new tool (for me at least) called “Processing”, with which you can create generated visual solutions.
Drawing inspiration from Tim Rodenbroker, the objective was to push the limits of visual communication design and explore the potential of Creative Coding. The ultimate aim was personal growth and gaining the ability to convey ideas in a more engaging and innovative manner.
Challenge
The main challenge for me was to understand how the code created or proposed by other artists affect the final result of the visualization.
Approach
After checking out Tim Rodenbröker's work, I started experimenting with creative coding examples I found in online communities.
Once I grasped how the code functions, I picked specific words and decided to create animations associated with them.
Impact
The impact of this personal project is reflected in the newfound ability to enter into a creative dialogue with the computer.
By exploring the capabilities of Processing and drawing inspiration from creative coding projects, the project not only resulted in the creation of animations but also contributed to personal growth. The experience broadened horizons in visual communication design, equipping the designer with enhanced skills to convey ideas in engaging and innovative ways.
